The Cubbon park
Cubbon Park, situated in
the heartland of the city, is a must visit place for sheer
serenity that is its trademark. Spread over an area of about
300 acres, the foundation stone of this exquisitely spread
park was laid by Lord Cubbon in the year 1864. Also within the
park is an aquarium, the City Central Library that contains
rare books, a children's playground, and a quaint old toy
train called the Puttani Express, which takes you on a ride
